Class and competition class do not meet.
Timetabled class is a demo. The after-school class talks season. Students learn two things that do not meet. Teachers prepare twice.

Teachers will not register a team without support.
The game changes every year. Field, notebook and registration all need a person. Without someone running alongside, teachers will not register a team.

Lower-primary class P1–P4
Snap-together builds, classroom missions. This year: Ocean Science Exploration. School classroom games.
IQ
Team / club P4–S3
Plastic-kit team, competition path. 2026–27: Level Up. Register on events.vex.com.
AIM
Classroom CS / AI P1–S3
Classroom vision and missions. A computer-science extension beside the build.

Senior metal S1–S5
Metal structure, engineering class. 2026–27: Override. Register on events.vex.com.
Six ways to buy
1. Competition class
Prepare for this season: read the rules, write the notebook, take the field.
2. Interest club
After-school club. Build first, then decide whether to compete.
3. STEM Day
Half-day hands-on. Something to show on an open day.
4. School / inter-school contest
Run one on campus or with another school. GO classroom games sit here.
5. In-timetable class
On the timetable. Choose GO, AIM or V5 by year band.
6. Teacher training
On-campus training. Aim: the school leads the next round.
GO / AIM 8–12 hours classroom demo; IQ 12–16 hours demo, 20–28 hours local event; V5 16–24 hours demo, 28–40 hours local event. (RobotHK suggestion, not a VEX official rule)
